MISSION STATEMENT African cultural, information and integration center supports immigrants through their journey of providing creative and responsive programs that are culturally and linguistically appropriate, by building a community through mutual respect and partnerships, and by fostering healthy and inclusive spaces for open dialogue and healing for all. Vision Statement African cultural, information and integration center envision an inclusive Slovak country in which all immigrants contribute their gifts, skills, values and culture; strengthening and transforming and informing the community. Our Activities With the help of volunteers, the organization has been offering immigrant’s information concerning settlement, counseling, translation and interpretation, Slovak language, job mentoring, and peer support services. The organization has been participating in workshops concerning, multiculturalism, diversity awareness, immigration, anti-racism and human rights. We advocate for fair laws and policies that promote equal treatment and opportunity and promote inter-cultural events that will enhance positive interaction between African Immigrants and the Slovak residents by organizing Social and cultural interaction activities and create intentional opportunities for African Immigrant and the natives to work together to identify barriers, develop policies, and implement programs that will facilitate Immigrant integration.
